Lollie's Story:
3 years ago, Lollie came to us as an owner surrender. Her human mother was fleeing a domestic violence situation and needed a safe place for Lollie as she was heading across the country to her family in Oregon. Lollie bonded so well with all the other rescue cats and kittens that we decided to keep her as a permanent resident (as well as her BFF Maria). She is the sweetest cat in the world and helps us raise all the orphan kittens that come through our doors. 

About:
My sister, Brittany (now deceased), and I founded Kat Pawz Sanctuary in 2019. We grew up watching our mom and grandma rescue cats and always dreamed of having our own shelter. We started Kat Pawz with the simple mission of providing a safe haven for cats in need. We function mainly as a sanctuary for FIV+ and special needs kitties but we have also adopted out around 350 cats since our founding. 

How to use our candles
On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt — a minimum of 3 hours. That first burn is the most important. If the candle is not burned for long enough to allow the wax to liquefy or to melt from edge to edge of the container, it will create a “memory ring.”

Trim the wick to 1/4" each time before lighting and enjoying
Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time
When there is 1/4" of wax left in your candle remove the remaining wax & upcycle the glass*
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets
Keep the candle away from drafts and vibrations
Always burn candles on a level, fire-resistant surface
